How can I reuse or recycle old doormat?

We have an email from Chrissy questions what had to do with an old doormat:

The Bristly Art.Kompost it?

The Bristly ones usually consist of coir - coconut - so a natural material, compost - is but it can apparently takes many years to zersetzen.Das is really a good thing - we had to replace our mats when you every six months - rotted more frequently and it would rot probably, down in a warm, moist compost faster than on the door, but maybe one am view compost long for a rather than a quick one turn.(Also, be careful when has rubber or synthetic backing - you might not want that at all in your compost reduction.)

Short in your e-Mail and say sweet not Chrissy why is get rid of it, but according to its State in the same or an other capacity could - if I a spare rubber floor mat right now had, no matter how grubby, it would go outside the door to our so I wipe chicken run could my feet on the road after traipsing outside secured garden wiederverwendbare.Oder, I made a Wellington boot before becoming a few weeks and it could be fitted easily with helping some strips of Bristly coir, first to clean up the mud out of you.

Any other suggestions reuse?
