How can I improve my grey water system?

We have an email from Su had:

I like the heads of all taxes that these sites do not intentionally, but in a why I know not how to do,' sort of way read.

Here, I gather all the water in my washing machine, and use it, to the toilet to spülen.Giesskannen water dragging steps with a shoulder is not easy. So I want some sort of pump, preferably from recycled bits (if possible) to construct.Unfortunately I have not the remotest idea where to start!

I can easily put a tube from the bathroom window in the containers of water, but it would be easiest if the pump, or at least the switch was at the 'Top' end, so I runs at the end to it to cycle up and down stairs.Would a washing machine pump (not that I lying one have) do the job? it could be solar powered?

All ideas, the I grateful.

I have not much experience with greywater systems Setup so that I can not really advice - hopefully will someone in a better position, position to nehmen.Als I would knowing someone who has an incredibly vertical House more about options for pumping water.

Is one thing but I will say you change it around could, so you need to top pumps? for example, using grey water from the toilet, shower and use the stuff from the washing machine somewhere else (such as on the garden, if it is dry free) it obviously depends on the set up your home - not his storage room at this level for water - it could be but it easier then you could get things in this way to check certificates work a powered pump.

Ideas, suggestions or advice?

How can I reuse or recycle foam water pipe lagging?

This is usually the other way around – we usually suggest things that can be used to insulate water pipes – but I saw some foam water pipe lagging on the road today while walking the dog. I imagine it had blown off a nearby skip or been taken off by kids (because reuse #1: they’re great for sword fights) but either way: yoink!

Given the rain of the last 24 hrs, they’re a bit wet but since they’re plasticky foam, I imagine they’ll dry fine. We’ll probably use them for actual pipe lagging as we’ve just had some new pipe work put in – but if we were already insulated, what else could we use them for?
