What can I reuse or recycle to build a cold frame?

(I suppose be an overlap between this and our previous question therefore, greenhouses, but I thought I would ask again, because you are a little different.)

I have lots of fun, things in our new garden grow. The old garden was significantly small and got none (no!) direct exposure to sunlight whatsoever made of growing things a little difficult. Here we get much more sun - at various points during the day - and that was actually a bit this summer a problem - my current kindergarten area (porch) was always a bit too hot for some types of seedlings. next year, I want more kindergarten space usually so I thought a cold frame would make sense.

Cold frames are a this great DIY projects with more people who are likely to buy your own from scrap as you create. But I have builders ' block - unable to think a bit what verwenden.Ich my eye from old Windows or similar, and I have for almost Yoinked of my best friend's old shower but it was too large and problematic would be down - but apart from cut that I can remember what I require clear parts use. welcome suggestions?

As for the frame my father built his latest cold frame using the frame of my old childhood bed (a divan, a predesigned border) that made me start to facilitate for my weak woodworking skillz on other prefabricated frames: we have an old table that could be tilted head to provide a solid basis and uprights - adding things to you probably would be much easier than start from scratch.

Another idea might be a brick frame create - we have some rescued bricks around the places - but I wouldn't know how to on a cover, the Scharnier.Edelstahlfarben lid is not important, only useful when...

Any other suggestions? all advantages / disadvantages on brick or wood frames? what have you done?
