Green Halloween: How can I the amount of sweet / candy wrapping reduce?

Training in our Green Halloween series...


What with food safety issues and all the urban legends about razor blades & kovazg, are almost all trick-or-treat treats these days shop bought and individually wrapped - may be the worst way to eat candy or chocolate packaging waste, especially as it mostly of plastic wrapper that can be reused.


Do everything to minimize, give the height of the sweetie packaging- and collect?


What are the most reusable or recyclable options?


Is a way of reducing, of course, not to the whole trick or treating thing- but there are other alternatives?


And while we this long dim and distant past, each new reuse/Upcycling ideas for the wrapper - have assumed transparent ones shown in the image or opaque chocolate used ones on mini bars etc.?
