Green Halloween: How can I reuse or recycle Halloween decorations?

Training in our Green Halloween series...

Together with masks and costumes the stores are full of Halloween decorations at the moment zu.Kunststoff skulls and skeletons, plastic pumpkins, plastic spiders and bats, plastic ghosts and ghouls... many plastic.

As with the masks, it is far green (and more fun!), decorations from scratch to make rather than relying on stuff, mass produced, on the other hand the Welt.Es are plenty make your own Halloween decorations of HOWTOs out there (such as these ten different ideas...). But still, many people turn to store stuff bought.

Suggestions for ways to the reuse or recycle these bits and bobs?Plastic pumpkin/boiler plant pots?

Or change the use of / upward trend things all year round - to use as decoration or for other purposes?

Was an idea I saw using skull ice cube trays as SOAP forms-while you plan the finished article, a Halloween party / trick or treat gift to be, why limit the fun on this event? I say fun skull soaps all year!

Another idea for a bigger, harder plastic skull - drill/bag pencil size holes to the cranium and use it as a fun Pen/paper pot - like pinhead from the Hellraiser movies, but with bright colored felt tips.

Who favors decorations or party with Halloween make spooky fashion jewelry?

Any other ideas?
