How can I the last of the gel from the bottle?

We have an email from Sylvia in a similar vein to our "How to: use the last everything" post had a few months ago:

I love Avon products, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get out the gel to get if I can shake more out of the bottle not!Any suggestions?

Back in the day used to a straw use the last my (apparently Frizz ease) out of the narrow, tall bottle - getting hair gel, which was quite messy, but have a lot of sticky gunk on the sides of the glass.

Gel's use, are subject to the possibly to do the old add-water and swoosh-around trick used for shampoo - will make it a little more watery gel but everything will be good for some gels.

If you lose much gel and the bottle is plastic, it is advisable, to see if you could change to get to it in bottles-, fashion cut the pipe and scrap out leaving the stuff on the pages instead of tubes.

Any other suggestions?
