What can I reuse or recycle make advent calendar?

I started yesterday really advent this last week but nevermind question should have.

We do not celebrate Christmas, but I know that do one or two people around the world - and some of these people have advent calendar to open up to 25 on the run.

When I was a kid, I'm pretty sure my mom gave us the same calendar several years running, with the doors place - closed it properly no matter, because enjoyed at the opening the door to see what's behind him was enough. Then when I was my early youth in the early 1990s, chocolate advent calendar was suddenly cheap and widely available, the chocolate, rather than the drawing of the Bell or the reindeer was the target and the calendar suddenly was disposable.

But it must not be! There are some great examples of the creative - and reusable - advent calendars out there - like This spool advent calendar Kit from Cathedral Holden of just something I made - I think, something similar could by recycling be made from any kind of plastic tubing or even role toilet paper tubes set up if you have 24 cotton coils to the hand. I love the idea of having treasure hunt elements, the messages or with Christmas preparation activities tasks- or you stupid jokes to everyone get could be heated for your Christmas crackers.

I've also seen, some examples where people have gathered 24 boxes - could be, old packing lacquered or covered in paper as also numbered - and put together a countdown calendar with ample closet space. You would be filled with goodies or properly gifts tree foliage would – many children would love to decorate the structure one item at a time as each item is displayed. And days of the weekend with craft supplies, you have make a tree decoration could be filled.

And it has not strictly recycled, but I love Lucy's Advent wreath reusability of attic 24 – it could be recycled, reclaimed yarn or Upcycled, use you to sewn stars instead of crochet make).

You did everything a display calendar through reuse or recycling?

Or have you seen more great examples out and about on the Web?
